2nd Annual Lineworker Appreciation Coloring Contest

In celebration of Lineworker Appreciation Day on April 18, the Craig-Botetourt Electric Cooperative hosted its 2nd Annual Lineworker Appreciation Day Coloring Contest to honor the dedicated individuals who bravely ensure our members have electricity every day. Among the 163 submissions and over 2,100 votes on the CBEC Facebook page, the winner of the contest is Cheyenne Combs, a 15-year-old tenth-grade student at Craig County High School. Besides her talent in art, Cheyenne, who has a passion for math, dreams of working for the FBI or pursuing a career in criminal justice. While all participants will receive a token of appreciation, Cheyenne will be awarded a certificate of achievement and a $50 Visa gift card for her exceptional artwork. The level of participation exceeded expectations, nearly doubling the submissions from last year. A big thank you to all participants for making this event a success!
