CBEC Apprentice Particpates in International Rodeo

Avery Dolinger participated in the 28th Annual International Linemans Rodeo on Saturday October 15, 2011 in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Avery qualified for the International Rodeo by finishing in the top three of the regional event.
Avery competed as an apprentice against over 200 other apprentices from around the world. The competition included lineman from such places as Canada, Jamaica and Russia. The apprentice events included 5 events; such as hurt man rescue, pole climb (with egg), CPR/AED, written test and one mystery event.
Avery finished 2nd overall in the CPR/AED event. As a result of his outstanding performance, he got to walk the red carpet to the stage where he was awarded his plaque. General Manager Hildebrand states, “We congratulate Avery on this significant accomplishment and we are extremely proud of him. Avery is part of the future for Craig-Botetourt and he is helping us insure we can provide the service our members expect and deserve”.
Again, we congratulate Avery on his accomplishment and say “Job Well Done”.
